Finding the Community that’s right for you.

Buying a home is one of the most important and personal decisions you make in life. In choosing the right home, the one that matches your family's needs and lifestyle, there are many important things to consider.

We advise you to ask the following questions before purchasing or building a home.

What size house is best for you? What type of house will suit your needs: single-family detached, semi-detached, townhouse or condominium? Are you looking for a country or city home?

You should also think about the community you want to live in. Decide which amenities are important to you and find out how convenient they are. Is there a school nearby? How far do you have to travel to shop? What about parks, trails and recreation facilities?

Once you've determined your housing type and community, consider the lot you will be building on. Will it accommodate the type of house you want?

As an example of the sort of things your might run into, only certain lots can accommodate a walkout basement.

Think about other natural conditions like where the sun rises and where it sets. In what part of the house would you like to have the morning light?

Whatever you decide is right for you, chances are Armco Communities will have it.

We offer a variety of lot types and sizes in locations throughout HRM. We have lots that can accommodate homes ranging from single-family executive to semi-detached and townhouses.

Our communities feature a blend of spacious country homesites as well as city neighbourhoods. All of our communities are designed with families in mind, featuring parkland, tot lots and walking trails.

Our knowledgeable sales staff will answer your questions and make your homebuilding experience as enjoyable as possible.
